Climate protection concerns us all. In 2015, the Paris Climate Conference therefore determined that man-made global warming must be limited to 1.5 degrees Celsius with effective measures in order to safeguard living standards and economic assets. In order to achieve this goal, the European Union is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, for example. The Science Based Targets Initiative (STBi) is an association of various organizations (CDP, UNGC, WIR and WWF) that uses science-based methods to support companies in developing and implementing their own targets for reducing greenhouse gases. This enables companies not only to make an effective contribution to climate protection, but also to win customers and business partners, sustainably reduce production costs and secure supply chains for the future. This can prevent the threat of regulation. At the same time, the company’s reputation and the credibility of the measures implemented increase. Many well-known companies around the world have already signed up to the initiative and had their climate targets validated by it.

Our experts will be happy to advise you on the requirements and procedures of the STBi. Using advanced, user-friendly measurement methods, we collect and analyze relevant data to give companies a clear picture of their current environmental impact and advise them on practical measures to reduce emissions and protect ecosystems.
